I recommend changing the port the worldserver uses to something not used by anything else

realmlist = 8085
worldserver.conf = 8085
config.wtf = myip (checked with ping)
authserver.conf = 3724

unable to connect...

If you can't connect after setting realmlist.wtf to the correct address, the port isn't open or your router (if hosted on the same system) doesn't support NAT loopback.
