One of the big things I would say is a challenge is the double hammer effect.
Blizzard doubled healing and then halfed the spellpower on all gear making it linear. However IPM again halves this without setting pre TBC gear back to normal.

I know previously when I helped set up phases and stuff in the vanilla client, we just made the gong perma phase the door on event quest turn in (while casting the effects on an invisible npc where the gong is)
