There's a difference between custom and custom though. You can do so much without ever touching the client files. Like I said, I don't know but I'm trying to get the whole picture.

Modules are not an official part of the server core though. I'm on the fence because I, like I said, am not a modder. I can see some big positives with it, for sure.

but if legally or even in iffy gray area this brings suspection that AC is encouraging client file modification then i think it will be taken down by admins

I'll end it on this: I'm not going to disagree with it at all because the positives are kind of big but I can't say "Yes add it!" because I personally have no reason to use it. That said, I can totally understand why you would want it.

How much a given server wants to mode the DBC's is really on them. You've got guys on here every day looking for How to Do X,Y,Z and about half the time we tell them its a DBC change .... and off they go to change it
