my buddy played archer and had a 2 button rotation, i played engineer and had a like 27 button rotation do do less dmg

Can you imagine, every quest giver, instead of offering two pieces of gear that only half the time would include an item that's of actual use to you, offering *only* items for your class and spec.
And giving you enough choice so you can gear more than one spec.

GW2 is more you go to a place and join in with what's happening, so instead of someone sending you off to collect 20 bear-asses, you just start killing bears because they're what's there, and someone wanders through asking you for asses.
