I am fully aware of what I'm saying and I know what works and what doesn't. I've been using playerbots since it was picked up by liyunfan. Just because you read something somewhere doesn't make it true. I can easily run 1000 bots + be logged in with 24 altbots on my system running at 2.6GHz and it doesn't cause any lag.

To add to revision's message, even just running AC, is depended on machine, but modules like Playerbots and AH bot, tend to be one of the most perfomance hitting.
Don't expect a laptop from 2010, with a 1-2GH 2-4 Core CPU, maybe 4-8GBs of RAM and an old HDD to run AC with 100 players without strunggling, even less if you add 1000 bots.
If playerbots perfomance was that bad, as stated by you, than people would be complaining about it and stop using it, which is not the case.
