No, they’re going to use more resources in every aspect because the server is sending net messages for every bot to every real user and the real users are also going to be querying info for all those bots. So network performance is still relevant.

That's why you'll run into issues with CPU usage long before anything else. Well, as you pointed out disk speed could become an issue if you're using slow disks but still not as quick a problem as CPU.
