I have nothing against your use of any kind of alternative remote access to the server, except for the game client and the site. Use them, no one forbids you. Until your server is hacked through them. The more RAs are allowed, the lower the security reliability of the object (in our case, the server).
If it so happened that everyone is used to using sites to register accounts or recover passwords, you can limit yourself to this without coming up with other ways to connect to the server and not creating new sql-users for them.
That's why I asked "what do you think about this."
