If I recall correctly wow has 4 times periods, day and night and 2 between like 1 - 3 hours for transition

Soulbound itself isn't a big deal - if there's an easier way to e.g. allow me to trade items to my other toons that's all I really need

Yes indeed - world server was shut down, only mysql was running

I'm not at home so can't test, but changing bonding is the only thing that's needed so not sure why it isn't working. Out of curiosity can you set that item to have bonding 2? And see if it let's you change it to bind on equip
