workaround I use for the moment is force close the window, and decrease save data interval in conf

since force closing this way does not save char data

It does save for me. Anyway, I just had it take ~1 second to close and right after it took 5-6 seconds.

It makes no difference running in Vulkan either

ok must be sthg wrong with my setup then, although its pretty default world / login server conf. I test new spells so i leanr them on char, then force close, they're not on the char when i log again.
FWIW changing resolutions is not it. I'm using Chromiecraft 3.3.5a client

I reset config.wtf and only added the option to make the window non-fullscreen and it made zero difference. I don't *think* it's the client itself at all.

Aw, I thought I was on to something. I changed priorty to high in Windows and it closed instantly, tried again and it took seconds yet again.

Saw in world conf that process was supposed to be high priority by default...?
