Related to hamachi, equivalent and better for the same purpose is rAdmin. No account, no adapter issues, no cap on clients per channel / group, has type c IPs so you can play old games locally that don't support other type / class of ip

rAdmin is a vpn so it create a virtual networks like was your local network between the users

I found this youtube tutorial, does this seem legit to you? He uses noip.com but i am not sure if he is using Azerothcore
