Hey, so I really wanted to start digging into this whole concept of modding WoW/creating locations etc. Are there any good updated guides?

I found a few guides on ModelChanging community but are mostly incomplete or from 2015. Are they still relevant or are there any other good resources to learn from?

Hi, MC net is the only really good modding site as of today, there used to be Modcraft back in the early days of modding, but it has long been forgotten and abandoned, you can still look up the old tutorial there, but really you want to stick to ModelChanging, though the tutorials may seem old, they are pretty much what the WoW modding is even today. You can also try using WoWDevWiki, it contains literally everything about 3.3.5. WoW client-wise, all Dbc and such. https://wowdev.wiki/Main_Page If you new you can also give a try to Amaroth's WoW modding tutorials https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCCDNjUz...Y-UwfFdXpA But to be honest, modding is self learning and improving sort of thing, the best way to learn something is to keep trying to alter something and learn stuff on your own and eventually share it with others.

Yeah, support is around but it's one of those niche things where learning for yourself and problem solving gives you 50 times the experience of just reading or asking
