if noggit doesn't read it its mostlikely a issue with the M2

O/ I've been modding for a long time yeah, it reads fine in noggit just doesn't read at all in game I just get the unetextured version.

If it didn't work in noggit then its something wrong with the file easy to figure out, but since it does work in noggit its clear its reading the patch info correctly and it has to be something else
