Yeah, for the paladin it does update instantly.

If I go on a different class, it doesn't change the CD at all - Even if I use the spell the CD is still unchanged.

Try swap to the "potions" flag on the spell see what happens

The CD might be a client issue btw, remember reading it at some point where CD's and tooltip updates don't show properly when their class flags are not used on actuall class
