The texture sometimes gets exported weird, not sure why. Usually I rotate the UV map 180 degrees, save blend file, export m2, then rotate it 180 degrees again so its back to how it was in the beginning, and save and export again, and usually it gets fixed. No idea why it happens, but if that fixes it, I don't mind. Not sure if you're having the same issue though, so dont know if that will fix it
