You should maybe provide more info. You're being pretty vague. Like what are you struggling with? The whole progress or a certain models? Any details and screenshots would get you some help faster.

I’ve set the model data and display info dbcs up, I’ve applied them to a custom patch. I’ve given it my m2/mdx file path, I’ve checked the models in wow model viewer, I’ve tried just about everything. Trying to retroport some models but they end up as small boxes

Did you try running them through the Swarms multiconverter first? Mine might be a little out of date, but it works fine for me in most cases. I'm sure you can find a more up to date one from just searching around. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1...03c02f142&
But yeah, if you haven't used the multiconverter before, just drag and drop the folders contents and hit fix. Then apply to your patch.

Also, if you're struggling to make a custom model work, try copying a similar blizzlike model data and display entries, then just edit the paths/modelid. You also might have to try different variations to see which is the correct ones. There is a way to find the correct variations but i can't recall the website sadly. Most of the time a box means the model dbc is incorrect. If you get like invisible or white models, that's often the display dbc thats messed up. Hope this helps you, I'm not really a pro at retroporting though, so take this with a pinch of salt. :p

Also, this might be an obivious thing but be sure your pathing looks like this.
```
Creature\darkirondwarfcorehound\darkirondwarfcorehound.mdx
```
and not like this.
```
Creature/darkirondwarfcorehound/darkirondwarfcorehound.mdx```
I ran it through a multi converter I found multiple times. Perhaps the one I had was faulty
