The client knows about it because you change the UNIT_FIELD_MOUNTID which is mirror'd to the client.

Thanks. So something is up then if I cast a spell that summons a mount from the vanilla files simply replacing the M2, and the camera moves up.

Then I create a custom mount spell with the auras that apply the correct effects (78, 32, 0 for effect auras) and the camera does not move with the same M2.

well I can tell you that the client has a bug that doesn't always update the camera collision height.

True but that's not the case here, right? I have consistency that the camera isn't adjusting on these new spells I made

Which is weird because I copied the spell.dbc entries from existing mounts, changing only the effectvaluemiscA or whatever to the display ID of the mount, and the names, etc.
