What alistor says or did you also modify the model and mayhaps change the blending settings of the wmo?

You'd think that but I've tried every format I can, and as I've said I've just taken the original blp and popped it in the patch - the only difference seems to be, the texture doesn't load at all, or the transparency turns black or white

No changes, the patch is just .blp changed - for my sanity I also copied in the original .M2 and skin files to the patch, no difference

Did you build your mpq from scratch or just drag it into an existing mpq?

I've had issues with just dropping files into an MPQ and had to build them from scratch to get them to work right. YMMV

And yeah created a new patch, no luck, but i've just disabled all my patches and it's still broken - even on my completely fresh wotlk 3.3.5a.. It WAS working, so now I am absolutely baffled It has to be something on my PC
