Then you put the edited file in a new MPQ file that you make as your custom patch, only needs to contain Interface/FrameXML/PetFrame.lua

sweet, yeah I touched a bit of that a while back, but my knowledge was a bit rusty. You'd have to comment out the return as well i I think. to improve it further, we'd have to modify the HasPetUI function i bet
