If I want to have all items, the number also starts below 56806. I have already checked this. I am only interested in equipment and weapons. So far everything is working. I have done a lot of tests and am just in the process of sorting out duplicate display IDs. Thanks for the tip.

Question: Does it delete all duplicate entries, or does it leave me one for each duplicate? For example, if there are five duplicate entries in display ID 3465, does it delete all five or just four? Do I have to choose what I delete myself? I use Heidisql.

It does not delete anything. It selects for you the duplicates.. you can delete them afterwards.
