Exactly! The most common case I get is that cata and later models get multiple fidgets sounds (up to 4) but tbc get only 1 colonne in the DBC

Depending on the sound you might be able to trick the client by playing sound based on state animation, though I don't know if it exists in tbc but if so you could instead of using creature sound data fidgets move them to ObjectEffectPackageElem.dbc in wotlk to have sound played based on state animation of the model (if that state exist in animation.dbc and is used by the model), you would also need to edit ObjectEffect.dbc, ObjectEffectPackage.dbc and ObjectEffectGroup.dbc.

That can work to add additional foley sounds when you run, swim, fly etc.

Game will crash if there is a mismatch between these dbc, and I'm still not sure how exactly they work between them.
