I've managed to do this by just reducing the nSubmeshes in the header, but that makes it order-dependant

If they are geoset groups, by creaturedisplayinfo geosets.

Would probably be easiest. If they are a submesh you can rename them in the skin file to be a geoset group and toggle them via dbc too

not sure about vanilla, but they should be named something like creaturegeoset or geosetgroup or similar.

Will look again. I’m not sure if vanilla supports npc geoset mangement via db tho I might be wrong since I’m a noob but will check regardless
