i'll try here before I do it the hard way. was handed this map by a client, it's some retroported map where shadows are completely fucked up in some areas ingame. i know it's caused by an m2, because removing all models from the game fixes the issue, and removing all wmos does nothing.
is this some known issue that I can actually analyze or get hints for what model is doing it before I start slicing it?

Maybe one model itself is broken and has some kind of huge, invisible mesh

i'm suspecting it's something like that and my plan is to just binary search it until it goes away (did some isolation tests and it seems to be a minority or even a single mesh doing it), but thought i'd check first

it's very clearly messing up the renderer, shadows moving along with the player etc
