Alas, it's not our choice to use it as the server is a community relic in the process of being revived. Otherwise we would probably be on azerothcore or trinity. Do you know of any good tutorials for this that are up to date?

You could port your content over to TC or AZ, would leave you with at least a somewhat relevant and modern core And no, but you could check model changing, might be some tutorials there ♂️
