A) A lot of WoW is based on client prediction, which helps bots/hackers massively.
2) WoW prefer to wait months and months then do a massive ban-wave for some reason. They don't like to ban on detection.

atleast for 2, it's about trying to not give away the detection. if you ban the momen you know, you can easily know what to change

They already do clever stuff like obfuscating packets inside other packets, they hide the response from client queries -- even adding random delays

Back in the day you would get a Warden scan request, and immediately just detach your bot, and you're undetectable
