I double checked. GDPR, ePrivacy Directive, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA, DPDP Act 2023, AUS Privacy Act -- it seems pretty much world-wide processing process titles requires explicit user consent.

I said previously too that of course the big servers don't care about legal requirements. But that shouldn't stop us calling out wrong behaviour, and saying what is required

Blizzard is already on Ascension's tail, and you think they’re going to care about the launcher’s GDPR compliance? As long as the players don’t care, the launcher will stay as it is.
