Anyone know why the wiki claims model.blob was added in cata, while it's clearly in the 3.3.5 client?
Or was it still in development and what's in the 3.3.5 client is in-dev stuff?

i think this is one of the rare cases where pinging <@160857905879449600> might be valid - he created the page and maybe still knows it

Wowdev is littered with mistakes when you start digging. Best you can do is fix it up based on what you find

Probably because I did a wrong. Happens. If it exists before cata, just fix it. I guess I did check back then. Either I missed it, or it was in data but not in exe, or it actually isn’t in 335 and you have some duckported client

I think I have the original client. Maybe some fixes applied, but nothing as major as a fully downported model blob thing.
It's also in the MPQ in 335, "World/model.blob", maybe someone with 100% certain original client can check.
