Trying to get the respective SpellID for the item currently held by the cursor, so I can save it via my addon.
It seems like it should be possible to get it directly via built in lua (https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/API_GetItemSpell) but that isn't working for me, so I'm looking for functions/addresses I could call via dll instead

Yeah that fandom link probably not for 3.3.5, you gotta have to dig for old api stuff

Yeah fair. But admittedly fandom has proven useful for a bunch of other lua I've needed, and it didn't mention any patches, so I was hopeful haha

Won't get it for the item in hand, but will tell you if it's 3.3.5a or not

If you can use direct calls, look at Lua_GetItemSpell (0x00517100) directly, as it get's the spell id in there.
