the reason it's causing this issue for me is i cull (hah) any ADT terrain if the camera's inside the BSP of an "indoor" WMO group that doesn't look "outdoors", and the pink lines show the BSP that totally encompasses this region

The group is named "collision" I wouldn't be surprised if that's a keyword, I know blizz uses some other some other group name keywords like "antiportal"

so it's like if it was connected to exterior. exterior still renders if you're in an indoor group with a portal that connects it to exterior

I didn't see anything special in flags, this one is set `flag_do_not_attenuate_vertices_based_on_distance_to_portal`

Also those collision triangle have the flag "no_cam_collide", which is uncommon and might set this behavior, I checked some other models collision and they don't have it
