I'd like to try do some work that basically wouldn't require any of the .adts, .wmos or majority of .m2s (aside from characters, pets and spells)

It's been requested a few times, and no it's long lost. I don't have most of my old modding resources, dead drives and upload space used to be a lot more restrictive

Doesnt wotlk also have duplicate models and such in the data files? Which are overwritten by higher level data files?
Couldn't you just strip all of the assets to one MPQ and remove everything that's dublicate and already save lots of space?
