having something that needs *zero* maintenance and is a single .exe to run as server is a huge win there

probably good for internal dev as well? assuming it's very easy to transfer db to mysql

for local dev its much much better because you dont have the sort of "global state" you have with proper full postgres

you just have a debug.sqlite blob with your debugging code and load that on your server
