Much better to base that off of a larger network that you don't have to host or worry about bandwidth yourself

People sit in Discord channels with friends while playing games that have voice chat. Assuming this requires them to be in voice channels dedicated to the game, you remove their ability to communicate with their friends at the same time outside of WoW's voice chat.

Mumble has positional audio support client side, you could always rip out that functionality and shoe horn it into wow
