As far as I’ve understood it they always take their parent scaling (335)

lol text formatting works out here too. I have like 2 layers of abstraction here (text is stored in sql, rendered onto this html via php), so I have to let those layers do the `\\` escape for me but yeah seems to work fine.
Still gotta find where / if alerts and motd is stored on the server, I just hard coded that in for testing.
