Yeah the way I have "artical ranking" setup, all the top issues and updated articles get filterd to the top. so all the top issue articles do show when you press that button..

could keep a counter for anytime a client uses a specific article and store that on the articles, then maybe daily you could refresh the order of them to the day priors most used

That's probs how the hot Issues counter worked <:hmm:637146865619697664> . or at least and idea on how to get it to work, i'm just manually flagging articles right now.
But yeah as soon as you update an article on the back end, it should automatically get flagged with the updated flag.
Then once a day, clear out the newly updated flag for any article that's more then a day old. and at the same time do that count how many views an article has thing.

It's always a bunch of gess work on how any of this stuff worked. Making the UI match screenshots and vidoes is the easy bit. making it function in the back end is hard / a lot of approximation work on making it act like retail.

edited article getting auto flagged as such isn't to hard, once you have an editor to make them.
scheduling tasks is always a pain though.
