question bc i am curious... is there a reason why blizzard chose to store some/most color values as BGR(A) instead of the more common RGB(A) or even (A)RGB?

something about memory layout optimizations for algorithms, or was it just a random decision?

so in essence why they store it "reversed" to what you usually say when talking about color values (not considering HSV and other shenanigans)
