Was a lot more applicable in that use case for sure, happy I learned it, but probably wouldn't start it now, if I were only doing it for wow

i definitely dont know nearly as much as others, i only learned enough to find a problem, understand the general code, and solve some of the minor stuff, like hardcoded IDs. i never spent the time to learn codecaves, function replacements, etc. too much for me
