It's industry standard, but the pros are programmers so were hostile to new learners.

yeah, but i want to really avoid installing cracked software on my new system... there are important things on it.
i am willing to pay for stuff... but the ida pro and most of all the decompiler costs are astronomically over my willing budget XD

having to pay both for x86 and x86_64 decompile 2700 dollar (EACH and WITHOUT taxes) is just a bad joke

maybe one day when i finally get that sweet cash i already should have gotten some time ago by now, when i surprisingly inherited a lot from a related Nigerian prince i didn't know i was related to before
