If I had 3.3.x PTR with asserts enabled, I probably would have more success at diffing

hmmm... could one look at the subroutine which is called, let's say it's first 8 or 12 bytes, and search the same sequence in the 335a disassembly? if they didn't change the chilling logic that much, it might be the same
