i dont think ive ever seen a rename of an existing filename that had an fdid assigned

but obviously eg map.dbc and map.db2 will have 2 different IDs

i'm using those ids to name icon files on the server, so them not changing all the time would help with cache and stuff (unlike unity PathIDs cough cough)

keep in mind that filenames from listfile however are not persistent

they should be for icons as those are 99.9% official names (formerly or currently encrypted icons are the only exception)

but anything not an interface file can change names as we don't have official ones for those and they are regularly updated/improved by community members

fml i did it again, committed listfile to git, push got rejected because file too large, i remove it and push still fails because its in history... why cant github be normal for once

this is why the listfile in the github repo is no longer updated with most names
