as in,extract the individual files into blp, wmo, etc files and serve them statically?

ahh i didn’t realize that. i figured there’d be a performance win from serving directly from the casc archives, since there’s less FS cache thrashing

there is but you'd need some sort of intermediate that knows where each file is etc

wow.tools used to have all of that in RAM for many many builds, but those services are dead now so its just 1 static build
