it's missing several antiportals and the staircases insides are sloped for alpha client, so they can't be walked up by anyone besides tauren due to Z movement changes

i read in the wow diary that there were great plans for Kara before release,... have they cut a lot since then?

I have it available to explore if you wanna check it, just ".tele dev" to get there. It's absolutely massive, and was very primitive compared to later designs as it was originally being done in WC3 client

I've got stuff like alpha ironforge implemented into vanilla 1.12 client, alpha kara, alpha outlands, etc.

U can say Kara was 90% ready for Vanilla release. But they cut out the almost ready building and started it from scratch
