We do sync the UID. But that still doesn't solve it.
Lets say UID is at 12345 and 2 users pull. 1 adds a model to STV and another to Westfall. _Both_ will be commiting the same new UID of 12346

Even if you resolve the UID file itself manually that hasn't fixed the ADT's and those 2 locations are close enough the client will crash.
