Depends what you do.
I use cashost in statc mode which means it creates cdn files which you can then hst on a sperate webserver. The generation of these files takes a load of time in caschost. So very bad.
Tact.net is okayish from performacne. Down from about 30 mins with caschost to 3 mins with tact.net.
After both methods yu got a modified cdn. With the difference that tact.net creates download file entries which caschost does not. Thus customfiles with caschost can only be downloaded on demand. Resulting in a very unstable client. So i would in all situations use tact.net. Because it provides stability for the client.
