Could be. You could do that with MPQs, but nobody every really used that

Also, why I would prefer having the spec over reading his code: his code is roughly as easy to read as disassembly. It also shows multiple places where he either did not implement the spec or the spec was missing (“never seen more than 1”, “todo: implement when I see it”), thus is strictly worse than the spec.

I’d be happy to add stuff to wiki, but not on this basis, since that’s just a shitload of work that will end up with wrong data.
