And even more importantly, can old data sometimes be found on old servers/paths that can't be found on the latest servers/paths?

Let me try phrasing a different way to make sure your answer is actually to my question
cdns file cdns1 has servers a, b, c. On these servers files x, y, z exist.
cdns file cdns2 (newer) has servers d, e, f
Is it possible x, y, z can be found on a, b, c but not d, e, f after cdns2 has gone live?
