@everyone
I really like the situation that we have a lot of C ++ and C # programmers.

We all lack a full-fledged map editor. What do I mean by the word "full"?

- normal rendering
- a normal tool for editing objects
- multiselect
- prefabs (model presets)
- minimap generator
- scaling textures (for newer versions)
- working with _h textures
- ground effects tools

And all the other useful functions that everyone needs so much (I can not name them myself, because I do not edit maps.

I do not see the point in continuing the development of the Noggit: Adspartan is working on it alone. As far as I know, modifying the existing structure is too problematic and time-consuming.

What is my idea?

I want to continue the **Neo** project.

As far as I heard people's opinion, this is a very promising map editor.
We could revive its development and take it into our own hands. It's written in C#, we have 7 programmers in C#.
Skarn said that Jax wrote the rendering on OpenGL, so **Neo** can be cross-platform, which somewhat simplifies our task.
I also want Neo to be a **cross-version** project.
Yes, I perfectly understand that it will not be possible to use the features of the Legion modding, let's say, for WotLK, but we gathered here to discuss the idea about **Neo.**
If we are ready to go into this, then thinking over the concept of all the features and functional will not be difficult.

Even though the rendering is in OpenGL that doesn't mean you can just port it to other platforms. It's using WPF and this is Windows only

And the current state of the Noggit code is actually not as bad as you might think. At least in my opinion. There's no reason to cancel Noggit to continue Neo.
