You'll mainly notice the odd bit of missing RP for some Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor quests. We haven't tested beyond that but expect the same. Definitely the odd core issue that comes with TC but overall fine depending on your intended population.

As for TS itself it's a very different form of modding so I get why some don't like it but we've been very productive with it and so far not really hit a "limit". Being able to essentially script dbc, database, addon and server side c++ all in one is super handy and powerful when used with normal programming knowledge like for loops, if statements, etc. Basic shit.

TC still gets work. And so far the major projects using TS-WoW have also had a generally open core. I believe both Duskhavens core and ours are both public.

For blizzlike fixes / general stability / system fixes in our case I just simply don't have the time to deal with the drama of actually PRing upstream trinitycore. Works for us so good enough for me.

It gets less updates yes. Up to you if that's a pro / con.

TS-WoW abstracts most of that away though so if you're using a recent repack then you're good to go either way
