I don't think I have those tables. I tested that spellpower scaling with the original and didn't notice damage scaling at all, though the shadowfiend's health *was* scaled with gear, I assumed (apparently wrongly) this was defined in a table somwhere.
I'm using CMangos. Haven't had to edit outside of the sql and dbc's so I guess it's time for a brand new headache. Thanks!

if it doesn't scale with gear then i bet it scales with creature's health itself. as u can see i am wild guessing here so i will delete my nonsense before i go to bed so more knowledgeable can see this
one thing that u can test is:
summon creature by its id and compare it with ur summoned shadowfiend and if they r the same lvl most likely it is scaled with creatures hp (well i would say that is 100% since nothing buffs that creature). also test with different character levels edit: deleted some things so it is less spammy. sry for misslead
