If you have seen it in your normal Wotlk client with the model viewer it's fine

That's where I exported it all from. But it just doesn't display in the game

I guess you mean GameObjectDisplayInfo.dbc? Can you show the entry you added there?
Not sure if .m2 would work in there, all other entries are .mdx which internally get converted to .m2

And did you just edit an existing DBC file in the client? Did you create a new patch mpq? Your players would need that aswell
