*If I understand this correctly*
By looking at QuestXP.dbc and reading the wiki. If the quest I am doing is a level 1 quest this is what will be given as followed.
- 10XP is provided when the quest is the following "Speak with X", very simple quests and usually close by.
- 20XP is provided when the quest is the following "Speak with X" or "Deliver X to Y" quests, average run distances
- 40XP is provided when the quest is the following "Speak with X" quests, usually outside the quest-givers zone
- 60XP is typically normal quests, usually "Slay X" where X is a low number (10 or less), close by item deliveries, e.g.
- 80XP is typically normal quests, usually "Slay X" where X is a high number (around 10 and above), far away item deliveries, e.g.
- 100XP - Elite quests, generally quests you need a group to complete
- 120XP - Normal quests, but with good XP reward. Noticed these are mostly used at the end of quest chains, perhaps group quests too?
- 160XP - Raid quests (both 10 and 25 man) or 5-man Heroic quests
