the rotation is only in a vec3 here, in the database it's stored as quat + orientation float

But it's not surprising they don't send the quat itself, as it's just converted back on the other side

it took me days to figure out how to convert noggit client rotation to server quat, because there's also the server-client going on at the same time, flipping axis etc
